I had recent routine blood work and urinalysis. In my urine they found 100mg protein and 50 mg glucose. I m wondering if any of the following could be a benign diagnosis as opposed to kidney disease: ibuprofen use 3-4 times per week, 500 mg supplements of vitamin c for extended time, taking this for a terrible cold I ve had about a month, no food for 12 hours before test, dehydration, and/or recent vigorous exercise. I ve heard/read too much about the potential causes for these levels. Your thoughts? My doctor has now ordered a follow up 24 hr urinalysis test.
